Gourmet Goats at Stoke Mill Farm

The goat farm was established here eight years ago and has featured on the Channel 4 River Cottage series and the Meridian Countryways programme.  Most of the goats at Stoke Mill Farm are Boer goats, shown in the left hand photograph with their owner Anthea, and they are reared for their meat.    Stoke Mill Farm goat meat is available to order from the farm or for purchase at local farm shops, as joints, diced or as sausages with a flavourful seasoning.    From September 2010 Gourmet Goat meat will also be available at Harrods of Knightsbridge, as featured in the Evening Standard and the Express online.  You can meet Anthea at Harrods on Wednesday 15th September 2010 during their Celebration of British Food.  Find out more about goat meat, goat meat recipes or how to order Gourmet Goats produce on this website.
